Wash & Care
Wool is biodegradable and renewable. Wool garments can last up to eighty years if cared for properly.
Wool regulates odor nicely, conveniently only needing refreshment by air or the occasional wash. Most of the time, a sun bath will provide a wonderful refreshment for any wool products. A few hours outside on a sunny day should do the job.
If your wool items have become dirty or you would like to store them long term, please hand wash them in lukewarm water with a gentle detergent or wool wash.
To remove excess water after washing, roll the items in a towel and press down. Gently extract the woolen items from the towel and lay them flat to dry.
If you are worried about critters being attracted to your wool items during long term storage, keep them in an airtight container. Also, lavender sachets or a block of cedar wood act as natural critter repellents.
